Outdoorsy as a company I think is great, however the host wasn't.Some issues that occurred1) We broke down on Saturday at 1pm, host was unavailable to be contacted for hours. Once contacted was made he started asking me repeatedly to look at the engine/batteries myself (all on Outdoorsy messages). He then contacted the em route wreckers and argued whether to do a roadside recovery or roadside repair (it wasn't a roadside repair kinda job but didn't listen). Then argued with them about the costing of the repair and was prepared for us to be without the vehicle until Monday just to save money (it would still cost the same). We didn't get to our rv park until 10pm, missing the rodeo we had booked, wasted a full day and also refused to compensate us and just said "it's one of them things".2) The AC in the RV was so loud we needed earplugs just to sleep, apart from on the second to last day because the AC broke on us and we returned it a day early.3) locks on the drawers do not work as they should4) room dividers also to not stay on the rails.5) TV mount was unsafely secured to the ceiling and fell while driving, luckily not hitting anyone. Although Luke (the host) charged us for it and we agreed to pay, to save further arguments, I have pictures to prove how unsafe it was secured.Overall out trip was great, we met lovely people, including the likes of Travis and Roger who opened their auto shop for us on their day off just so they could fix the alternator on Saturday for us to get back on the road. However the trip was only let down during the times we had to spend in the RV and the only good things I can think of is that the RV kept us dry during the 1 night of rain and 'mostly' got us from A-B. I just feel like the RV in total is just too old and too worn to be rented, without spending a sum of money to repair whats needed.I would recommend outdoorsy potentially to a friend however for myself I do not want to run the risk of having a host like Luke again, even if I did go for a more modern RV.
