Our host Jacob made the process very easy. Communication was great! The Scamp was great, even though the dining table/bed cushions were awfully hard to sleep on. If you don't like an extra firm mattress, make sure you take a foam pad for cushion to sleep on, but not a deal killer, that usually is to be expected. Beats sleeping in a tent all to pieces, especially when you have heat and a shower/toilet which worked better than expected. The Scamp, although really light weight for its size, was still a bit of a strain for the jeep... couldn't go over 60 mph which made for slower trip to Big Bend. For such a long trip, if we don't have a bigger vehicle to tow with next trip, we will likely just stay in the lodge next time. BUT if you are looking for a very light weight compact RV for a single person or a couple this is THE ONE! All you need, especially if spending most your day hiking Big Bend! FYI, no microwave or TV included as listed on amenities...so bring your own if needed.

We had the best time traveling with the Scamp. Jacob is very helpful and responsive. The Scamp was perfectly sized for myself, my wife, and our toddler. It's very easy to pull, and simple to use - even for a novice. We absolutely plan to rent from Jacob again - we would recommend it to anyone!
