There were some serious issues with this trailer that were clearly not addressed before its maiden voyage out for the season.First off, it was previously discussed with the owner that I would be in need of their generator. When I arrived to pick up the trailer he seemed surprised when I asked where it was and said something about probably being able to find it, but by that time I needed to get the trailer packed up and on the road so I said I'd just share with those in the area I would be camping in. He did briefly turn the kitchen sink on and said the pressure wasn't great, but there should be enough to be sufficient. There was a fine film of dust and dirt on all the surfaces inside that needed to be swept out or cleaned off before feeling comfortable to cook and eat off of - it was definitely cleaner when I returned it.When it was turned on it was discovered the propane tank was leaking. It was not discovered until the morning after arriving at our campsite, after waking up to the heater not working and shivering kids, that the inverter was not connected to the battery. Early the second morning, after waking up to an ice box for the second time after the battery had been properly connected the day before and charged for several hours, the open flame on the stove was the only way available at the moment to get any heat inside the trailer as my baby was shaking from the cold. The battery refused to hold a charge for more than several hours at a time the entire trip. My third night it was completely charged up before going to bed and by morning it was dead and the heater was out again. There was no water pressure and only a slight trickle at most coming from the spouts after arriving at our campsite. It was discovered that the water pump was actually broken and leaking. The pilot light for the fridge kept going out.Had I not been camping with people who had knowledge about some of these issues and extra resources to share with my family, our trip would have had to been cut short and/or it could have been more of a disaster experience than it was.45 minutes late returning a trailer that didn't work and all the owner was willing to do is wave the late fee instead of taking any real responsibility or showing concern for the lack of conveniences I paid for. It would have been reasonable to pay the late fee because I was indeed late, however I don't think waiving that fee is "calling it even" for the difficulties that came after spending money on this glorified box on wheels.
