Although the owners were nice, and mostly communicative, I had a terrible experience and ending up losing my entire $1000 deposit plus paying $400 for towing because there was no spare ignition key with the vehicle or with the owners, who were less then 20 miles away. There was no proof that thousands of dollars of damage was caused by our use, as the RV had been damaged by the previous renters and was listing hard to the right as soon as we picked it up. It was only towed a very short distance, during which there were no odd dragging sounds or smells that would have been required to cause that much damage. Additionally, the owners were not on site when we picked up the vehicle. None of the water tanks were filled, nor was were the fridge and freezer turned on. They never got cold over the three day trip. The oven did not really work, which may have been caused by a low gas tank. The back bed room and bunk beds, and over the driver seat beds are nice. But the other beds caused permanent damage to my friends' backs. No more than 6 adults comfortably fit on this model. The loss of time and money has ended up causing a cascade of financial problems that are still haunting me to this day, and I will never rent an RV again.

Picked up the RV for a 15 day trip. The RV was not clean at all and not well taken care of as indicatedon the listing. We spent over 4 hours of our time cleaning and preparing the RV for our trip. Food and trash under every mattress and padding. The pictures on the listing are definitely not current. The in-dash AC was not cooling as It is suppose to. We had to get that charged up with freon.
The driver’s side step became loose on our trip. We had to get that fixed. We had to buy fans to cool off the RV as the overhead AC was not cooling the RV enough during the day.
After the return of the RV, we contacted the owners twice and asked for a detail of the over charges. Never got that.
I can say this. We did have a breakdown (the first day of our trip) and the RV was towed to a repair shop. The owners did communicate with the repair shop so we could get the RV back and continue our trip. We did have to stay at hotels during the repair period but the owners did take care of our expense.

The whole experience was great. Honest, forthright, and accommodating. Went through the entire RV. Pointed out issues they were aware of. Quickly responded to our questions and requests. We'd most certainly rent from them again, and recommend it to anyone interested.

Awesome...totally awesome!!! Mike and Misty were a pleasure to work with. They were only a text or phone call away and always willing to help with the RV or great places to explore. The 2013 Forest River Forester was in great shape and immaculate too! Highly recommend Mike & Misty without a doubt!
